We don’t usually stop mid-game to make announcements, but this felt worth it. We’ve been nominated for Westword’s Best of Denver: Best Arcade Bar, and we’re genuinely thankful.
The 1up Arcade Bar has been around since 2011, built on a simple idea: classic games, solid drinks, and a place people actually want to hang out. No gimmicks — just nostalgia done right. We love seeing folks reconnect with games they grew up on, introduce friends to old favorites, or accidentally get way too competitive over a retro gameplay.
Over the years, we’ve hosted everything from casual parties to organized tournaments, and we’re always looking for better ways to show up for our local communities in Westminster, Greenwood Village, LoDo, and Colfax.
